Your Seamless Real Estate Photography Experience in San Diego
After you fill out the form to book an appointment; I will quickly respond via email or by phone to confirm and go over any additional details.
I carefully plan every detail of your photoshoot to ensure an efficient, seamless, and easy experience on the day of the shoot! Please have the property prepped, with the lights on,blinds open, and ready for the photoshot.
When the day arrives, your space is perfectly prepared for its photographic debut, thanks to my detailed pre-shoot checklists. I will arrive to complete a thorough walkthrough, planning each shot for optimal results. Then, the magic unfolds as I capture your space in breathtaking detail.
After the shoot, I swiftly and carefully edit your images. Then I will share them with you for your viewing within 24 hours of the photo shoot before final payment is made. You’ll have the chance to request any revisions. Your images are ready for use across all your marketing channels under my straightforward non-exclusive licensing agreement.

Certainly! I personally edit and Photoshop each image to ensure your real estate property looks its best.
The length of photoshoots is determined by the size of the property and services requested. The time breakdown is as follows:
- Properties 0 – 1500 sf ≈ 1 hour
- Properties 1501 – 2500 sf ≈ 1.5 hours
- Properties 2501 – 3500 sf ≈ 1.75 hours
- Properties 3501 – 5000 sf ≈ 2 hours
- Properties 5500 – 7000 sf ≈ 2.5 hours
Please note that these estimated times assume the property is showtime ready upon my arrival, and no issues arise on-site.
Photos are delivered within 24 hours from the end of the photoshoot.
All photo packages are exclusively delivered online through Dropbox or Aryeo. You’ll receive a link to download your images via email and or text.
I highly recommend saving the photos to your local computer or personal cloud storage – Google Drive is a great free resource . Unfortunately, I cannot host the images indefinitely on my account. (I can re-upload upon request for a $50 fee.)

I am based in San Diego and proudly serve the greater Southern California region. My primary service area includes all of San Diego County, covering cities such as La Jolla, Encinitas, Del Mar, Escondido, Temecula, Julian, Anza, Chula Vista, Bonita, Coronado, and Downtown San Diego.
In addition, I extend services to surrounding areas throughout Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County. This includes cities like Riverside, Ontario, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Pasadena, and parts of the Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles.
Please note: Locations outside of a 20-mile radius from ZIP code 92108 may be subject to additional travel fees of $1.70 per mile.
I recommend scheduling your appointment at least a week in advance, providing enough time for you or your seller to prepare the house for the photoshoot.

This checklist will help ensure that your home/listing is in top-notch condition and ready for the photoshoot.
I can enter the property through a lockbox or hidden key if needed, but I won’t travel offsite to pick up a key for entry due to time constraints.
I accept multiple forms of payment. You may pay with cash at the time of the shoot. Otherwise, you can make payment with most major credit cards online through PayPal via my invoicing system. Your media will not be available for download until payment is processed.
Under the standard license, you have the right to use the media provided by Rick Ryan Photography for your real estate listings on platforms like Zillow, Redfin, and your website. However, you are not allowed to sell or transfer the media to any third party. Please look at my licensing page for more details.
Upon arrival, please ensure that your property is photo-ready. If you need to reschedule a shoot, kindly provide a minimum 24-hour notice; otherwise, a non-refundable charge equivalent to the %30 deposit will apply. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
I offer basic photo packages that are licensed for MLS posting only. For listings on platforms like Airbnb or VRBO, it’s best to purchase a Airbnb photo package from the start to ensure the images meet the desired style and quality, and to avoid any potential misunderstandings.
It’s possible, but please note that I am not a photo storage service. Normally, I retain images online for up to 30 days. After that, it becomes your responsibility to manage image storage. If you still need the images to be re-uploaded, an additional fee of $50 may apply.
Yes, rain or shine, I will be there for the appointment. If exterior photos need to wait due to bad weather, I will return at a later time to capture those shots.
Examples of bad weather include heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, snowstorms, or any weather conditions that could pose a risk to the equipment or individuals involved in the shoot.
Yes, I am insured and FAA Part 107 licensed.
We operate a 30-mile radius from 92108. Appointments beyond our boundaries are subject to a charge of $1.6/mile.
